How Much Storage Do You Actually Have?
Go to Apple Menu → About This Mac → Storage to see a breakdown of what's using your drive space. Common culprits include:

- Applications: Unused apps, especially creative tools, can take up tens of gigabytes
- Downloads folder: Often forgotten and full of old files

- Empty the Trash (it doesn't delete automatically)
- Clear your Downloads folder
- Use macOS's built-in Optimise Storage tools (Apple Menu → System Settings → General → Storage)
- Delete unused applications
- Move photos and videos to an external drive or cloud storage
- Remove old iOS device backups via Finder
